The FLEX "Reset" button is located on the front faceplate labeled with the chasing arrows as indicated in the image below. The reset button is recessed in order to avoid accidental use. A paper clip, or something similar, works well for depressing the reset button.

Reset TypeInstructionsWhen to Use
Power CyclePower cycle (ON → OFF → ON) by disconnecting the power adapter from the back of the FLEX. Wait 5 seconds and reconnect the power cord.If the device pauses, switches between streaming and failover files, it may help to re-establish or refresh the internet connection.
Soft RebootPress and hold the reset button for 3-4 secondsIf a simple Power Cycle does not resolve issues, it may help to perform a Reboot.
Hard Reset
Press and hold the reset button for 10-12 seconds or until the status led blinks green 3 times.

After a few seconds, the device will reboot with factory defaults.

CAUTION: When used, WiFi credentials and Static IP configurations will be cleared!

When both power cycling and rebooting fails, you may need to resort to a Factory Reset.

WARNING: This erases all failover files, which will immediately begin downloading once internet connectivity is restored. Playback performance may be impacted until the entire failover track list is completely downloaded.
